This Is A Moment For America’s Destiny
My heart is concerned for America. We seem to be witnessing a shift from stability and righteousness to instability and godlessness.
What can we do to bring our nation back to God?
Ezekiel said it best: “And I sought for a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the breach before me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none.” (Eze. 22:30)
He saw a huge spiritual wall of protection around Israel. There were pockets of gaps and holes in that wall. America has those same “gaps.”
What can we do to repair the spiritual wall around our nation?
We must come to our spiritual senses.
We have lost awareness of how far we have drifted from God as a nation. There is a lot of “rubble” in those gaps that have to first be cleared away.
We have ignored His Word. We have grieved His Spirit. We have mocked His Son.
We have replaced him with gods of materialism and entertainment.
The source of all our drifting away from God is our preoccupation with self and unconcern for our neighbor. In this critical moment, we must turn our hearts away from the distractions and back to the Divine.
We must start to repair those gaps.
Once we SEE the gaps, we have to REPAIR the gaps.
Those gaps are in our relationships with each other: family gaps, racial gaps, gender gaps, political gaps, generational gaps.
We have open conversations to “own up” to our neglect and injustice. We have to ask God to forgive the gaps between us and reach out the olive branch of repentance, forgiveness, and reconciliation.
Satan hates to see people rebuilding the relationship wall.
We must devote ourselves to returning to God.
When Nehemiah built the wall around Jerusalem, he called everyone to take a section.
Your “section” is your street, your neighborhood, your city, and state in America.
You can stand on your back porch or wherever you pray and call out to God to visit America again. You can petition God with all your heart for His Spirit to turn the cold, angry hearts of people around.
Take prayer responsibility for your neck of the woods, your section of the wall.
We must pray together right now.
In the next two weeks, a major prayer initiative will be launched for three weeks in October. It will provide 21 days of focused, “gap-filling” prayer for each and every person who will participate.

Set a time each day in October when you will earnestly, fervently, Biblically, unitedly, cry out to our Heavenly Father to “fill the gaps” in the spiritual wall around our nation.
God is looking for “gap-fillers.”
