Why is it that some people have all of that and can’t say they are truly “blessed?”
“You can go easy…or you can go hard” became the life statement of a friend of mine.
Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die.” If there is no eternity, why not? Is there an “eternal day” after we die? If so, how do we prepare for it?

How do you pray “F.I.R.S.T.”?
If you can trust Him with your eternal destiny, you can certainly trust Him with small needs in this life.
With American life systematically shutting down, it’s easy to get “low.” We think negative, we talk negative, we spread negativity.
Fear does not change the situation, it only clouds your path forward.
“Those who are planted in the house of the Lord Shall FLOURISH in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be FRESH and FLOURISHING” (Ps. 92: 13,14, NKJV).
Here Are My Top 5 Reasons I Believe A Believer Should Attach Themselves To A Solid Local Church:
“The Lord is with you.” What exactly does that mean? Is it more than a sweet phrase?
Buying a used car can be tricky. They may tell you all about how wonderful that old car is but do they tell you about the oil leak? The rust underneath? The bent frame or the flood the vehicle went through?
Satan doesn’t tell you everything, either. When we read the story of Adam and Eve, we get the full picture of Satan’s “sales pitch.”
The commercialism of Christmas is in high gear. Amazon trucks are rolling. Malls are packed. Trees and tinsel prepare for the Christmas Day “loot.”
There is a “presence,” an atmosphere in Christmas that’s about a lot more than Santa Claus.
HERE, FOR ME, IS THE “PRESENCE” OF CHRISTMAS:
I love to pray. It hasn’t always been that way. I have moved from “desire” to “discipline” to “delight.”
Do you feel like you’ve been “dealt a bad hand?” Circumstances have been reversed? On a streak of bad luck?
Insecurity, in all of us, is a huge problem. It pressures us to act like someone we are not in order to get approval.
This 8.5 MILLION pound boulder recently smashed into a highway in Colorado. It’s so big they are building a new road around it! Somehow, it reminds me of God Himself who called Himself “THE ROCK.”
The 7 churches of Revelation have always fascinated me. They have one phrase repeated seven ways: “Watch yourself.”
We in the modern day church must check our “vitals” continually.
The will of God: Is it a “path” or an “environment”? It’s BOTH. You have to “find” God’s path. You have to “follow” God’s path by your attitude.
Israel “found” God’s path from Egypt to Palestine (the cloud and fire). They could not “follow” it because of their attitudes.
Trials are inevitable. Bearing them is not.
I’ve been through a lot of trials in my life and, by God’s grace, come through on the other side.
It’s tough when you want to know God’s will about a certain situation but there is no clear direction. You pray, you read…but still no direction.
“The heart of the issue is an issue of the heart.”
Somebody’s heart has gotten hard. Somebody’s heart has become selfish or impure. It may be MINE.
